They said they would talk to them about the noise and the banging.
Using our own cell phones we finally reached the front desk. We tried to call the desk using the phone in the room, only to find it was not functional.
For two nights we dealt with the people above us causing so much noise and banging that the TVs in our room were shaking. Our luggage reeked of smoke all the way home and required several processes to remove the smell. The Howonquet Lodge advertises it has a “100% smoke free hotel environment”, yet they have ashtrays at each entrance and exit, smoking balconies on each floor, and when you walk in the lobby the smoke from the casino is overwhelming.
